Militants barbarically kill unarmed BSF jawan Ramzan Parry in Kashmir's Bandipora
In what can only be termed as an inhuman and barbaric act, on Wednesday night militants barged into the home of BSF constable Ramzan Parry and fired at him and his family members indiscriminately in Hajin of Bandipora disctrict of the Kashmir Valley.

While Parry died on the spot, his family members are battling for their lives in a Srinagar hospital. The injured persons include Parry's father, aunt and two bothers.

According to the police, Parry was on leave and had arrived at his hometown to spend time with his family.

Nitish Kumar, Inspector General, North Kashmir, while speaking to reporters said, "There were 3-4 terrorists who first attacked him with a knife and then opened fire at him indiscriminately."

According to Kumar, Lashkar-e-Taiba's Hajin Module headed by one Mohammad Bhai was behind the attack. Three out of the four killers including the Module head are reportedly Pakistani nationals.

31-year-old BSF constable Parray was deployed with the 73rd battalion. His murder has refreshed memory of the murder of 22-year-old Ummar Fayaz in May this year. Fayaz, an Indian Army jawan was abducted from a wedding and later killed by terrorists. He too, like Parry had been on a leave.
