ABDUL GANI Malik, Minister of Higher education, Jammu and Kashmir state along with Director, Higher education Prof. Sham Lal visited Govt. Degree College Kishtwar to have a face to face interaction with the staff of the college and to know the pace of development works taken up in the college. The minister was received by Principal of the college Dr. Romesh Chander and Prof. (Dr.) Ashaq Hussain along with District Development Commissioner, Kishtwar at Shalamar.

Sen, staff secretary of the college highlighted various problems of the college to which Minister and Director gave a patient hearing and promised to fulfill the genuine demmands on priority basis. Joined by MLA ,Kishtwar S.A. Kichloo, the minister assured to paceup various developmental works in the college.
