Miss America 2010 Winner: Miss Virginia Caressa Cameron
Miss Virginia Caressa Cameron crowned the title of Miss America 2010 at Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino in Las Vegas. Miss California Kristy Cavinder named first runner-up while second runner-up honors went to Miss Tennessee Stefanie Wittler.
MISS VIRGINIA Caressa Cameron was crowned Miss America 2010 at the Las Vegas's Theater for Performing Arts in Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino Saturday. Miss America 2009 Katie Stam presented the crown to Caressa Cameron. Miss California Kristy Cavinder named first runner-up while second runner-up honors went to Miss Tennessee Stefanie Wittler. The third runner-up was Miss Louisiana Katherine Putnam.
Twenty-two-year-old Caressa is a student at Virginia Commonwealth University. She told people at the event that she has been a student of broadcast journalism and wants to make a career as a television news anchor.
Miss America 2010 Caressa Cameron won a $50,000 scholarship and the first runner up, Kristy Cavinder, won a $25,000 scholarship.
