According to reports emanating from Los Angeles, the deceased pop singer’s family and well wishers are putting all their efforts together in offering one of the splendid funerals to the pop legend- MJ.
The singer, according to his family members, will be buried in a customised casket costing $25, 000-/, the gold plated casket has been named as “The Promethean,” similar to Jackson’s pop idol James Brown.
The legend of pop singing who ruled the music charts like no body else in the history of pop music, will be buried on July 7 (Tuesday), in Staples Centre at Los Angeles, America.
As reported earlier, pop singer Michael Jackson commonly known as MJ died of cardiac arrest on June 25, 2009, at his Los Angeles home in America.
The Los Angeles police and administrative department are having tough time, considering the mad rush to MJ’s funeral. The authorities have made elaborate arrangements. They have advised Jackson’s fans and others who wish to pay tribute to MJ on his day of funeral to avoid coming towards Staples Centre. The authorities further said that only those who have the tickets/pass for Tuesday’s memorial service will be allowed to participate in the funeral rituals.
The website launched to assist Michael Jackson’s fans to register themselves for Tuesday’s funeral service garnered more than 500 million hits/visitors within its first hour of incorporation.
According to the officials behind the project, 8750 persons will be selected from the total number of registered fans that are spread across the globe, with each getting two tickets or entry pass for the Tuesday’s funeral service. The officials also said that 11000, winners of the draw will be allowed to witness the funeral service at the Staples Centre while 6500 will have an opportunity to watch live broadcast of the ceremony at the renowned Nokia Theatre.
