MAJOR LEAGUE Baseball is one of the largest efforts in All-Star Week history, and lots of people are involved in it. This has become possible with the co-operation of sponsors and partner organizations. Major League Baseball, the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim and the Angels Baseball Foundation will host a series of community events leading up to the 2010 MLB All-Star Game, and will donate approximately $5 million from Gatorade Workout Day ticket sales to local and national charities.

These efforts are designed to leave a lasting legacy in Anaheim and its surrounding areas and to raise funds and awareness for charitable initiatives. The daily community events will begin on Friday, July 9 to Tuesday, July 13. It will broadcast LIVE at 5:00 p.m. PT/8:00 p.m. ET on FOX. The programs, which are part of the ongoing "MLB Going Beyond" initiatives dedicated to charity and community service, complement the celebration of history and traditions of Baseball.
