Mo Farah not worried about London Marathon security
Due to the recent bombings at Boston Marathon, organisers of the London Marathon, which starts tomorrow, have taken extra precautions as far as the security is concerned. They have deployed some additional police units for the event. But, Olympic champion Mo Farah is not worried about the London Marathon security.

Mo Farah, one of the favourites for the London Marathon and also the present 5,000 and 10,000 metres Olympic champion told AFP: “London has done a great job. When you think of London Olympics, how good was it?! Everything was taken care of, so I believe they will do a great job like that, so no need to be worried.”

In fact, the champion runner would be concentrating on the task in hand with tough runners from across the world coming for the event.

The Boston bombings, one among the worst in sporting history, took place on the finishing line of the race, taking the lives of three people and injuring more than 180 people. The worst affected were those who were present near the places where the bombs exploded. About the bombing, Farah said to, “You don't want see anything like that in this sport ... All my support goes to the people that got hurt and their families.”

As a mark of solidarity and support to those people who got hurt, these marathon runners would be spotting a black ribbon during the race and also observe a 30 seconds silence.
