As soon as the latest jailbreaking tool for Apple iPhone 4, JailbreakMe, was released by the iPhone Dev Team which can unlock the iPhone 4 from its Safari browser, it was followed by a mobile carrier unlocking tool.

The mobile carrier unlock tool works fine and gives the users the freedom to use their iPhone 4 on any GS carrier. The iPhone unlock tool has been released by the name of Ultrasn0w. This release comes from the iPhone Dev Team as well.

In addition to unlocking the iPhone 4 with baseband 01.59, the latest version of Ultrasn0w will unlock the iPhone 3G and 3GS with basebands 04.26.08, 05.11.07, 05.12.01 and 05.13.04.

Ultrasn0w will give the users a flexibility to use their iPhones with other carriers than AT&T which is the exclusive mobile carrier for iPhones since its launch in 2007.

Apple working on security loopholes

As reported on Monday that the latest iPhone jailbreak tool, JailbreakMe, uses the security flaws in the iOS 4 on the iPhone 4 and unlocks the iPhone 4 from Safari.

Apple has taken these security loopholes in consideration and is looking seriously to fix that soon.

It is expected that Apple will be releasing the next software update soon and will fix the existing security patches to make the iconic devices much more secure.

At the same time the iPhone Dev Team has told that there are many other flaws which could be compromised.
