The world economics have been largely dependent on the engines of growth provided by a few nations from this very world. India has been lucky to be one of the chosen engines of growth along with Brazil, Russia and China. All these four countries were named as BRIC countries. It looks like, so far each of these four countries had played their role effectively as the drivers of the world economy; however, expectations can always be high.
For India, it
may be time to chalk out strategies for the country's engine of
growth. A few States like Gujarat, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka
and some other States may be the true engines of growth for the
the country to move in the right direction on a uniform basis, more
and more engines of growth are needed. Debates should be initiated
whether to make each State of India
an Engine of Growth by allocating a few districts in each State to
provide the necessary impetus all needed for an 'engine of growth'.
Such a move would enormously help the
planners and administrators of the country to foresee a uniform
growth throughout the country. In other words besides the much needed
inclusive growth, uniform growth of all the States would be in the
best interest of the nation.
Concerned people can do well to debate this issue for coming out
with better planning in the future for making all the States perform
better on economic fronts.
