Mother gives birth to premature baby in a car's front seat, calls her child 'miracle baby'
Miracles do happen. Life unfolds many magic moments which translate into miracles. Miracle happened when a mother delivered 11 weeks' premature baby in her amniotic sac. The baby was delivered in the car's front seat 11 weeks earlier from the due date.

The child undoubtedly was miracle for the world. Raelin Scurry says that the child is miracle baby because the little one took birth within the amniotic sac.

The amniotic sac is made up of fluid and acts as a protective layer for the baby, it shelters the baby inside the womb acting as a soft pad. The baby stays safe in the fluid inside the womb. When a woman is all ready to give birth, the water breaks, it is the amniotic sac which breaks, releasing the fluid through the vagina.

But God had some other plans for Scurry. Raelin Scurry was 29 weeks pregnant and she did not expect it so early. It did not go according to the stipulated date.

She felt some contractions in her body but initially she though it to be the beginning of labour pain, but the contractions were occurring at continuous intervals. She had it for 45 minutes, and then she thought of rushing to the hospital.

Baby

"The contractions continued to get closer together and more intense and before I knew it was time to push," she writes in an Instagram post.

She panicked and called 911 but she was not clearly audible. Scared she handed over the phone to her fiance.

"I pulled my pants off and reached down; sure enough his head was right there. I pushed one time and my miracle baby was here. When I looked down I realized he was still completely wrapped in the amniotic sac."

They rushed their car to the hospital.

"At first the baby was still and all I could do was praying he would be okay," says Scurry. "And then I rubbed his face with my thumb and he pulled his little hands and feet up to his face as if he understood my prayers and wanted to reassure us he was okay."

Healthy Baby

The baby is all healthy and hearty weighing 3lb 1oz at birth to 4lbs 3.8oz.

En caul (amniotic sac) births are uncommon and are quite rare phenomena. According to babymed.com it occursin less than once in 80,000 births.
