One of the well known rivalries in the EPL would bring Manchester United and Arsenal against each other at Emirates stadium later tomorrow. Though Manchester looks a better side but encounter is poised to generate huge drama and excitement.
A MOUTH watering Sunday fixture awaits us. The rivalry between Arsenal and Manchester United is known to football fans all over the world. They would once again be battling in an all important game, tomorrow at Emirates Stadium. As seen in the past as well, winning is everything for both teams. Manchester is currently placed second in the EPL table, with 48 points, whereas Arsenal lies on fifth place, with 36 points only.
Manchester has been one of the best teams this season as far as scoring goals is concerned. They have been scoring regularly and have totalled 52 goals in the season so far. Wayne Rooney, Nani, Berbatov, A. Young must be given the much needed credit for this offensive record. Arsenal does not look that threatening, as they have scored 38 goals and conceded 31 goals too in the process. But one cannot count out their quality players.
Some Arsenal players such as Van Persie, Henry, Ramsey, Walcott and Benayoun, would like to put up a good display on their home ground by playing offensive football, which they are capable of doing. Van Persie has been in great form, so the Manchester defence might be tested a few times, when he gets the ball in his feet. Hence, Vidic would surely be missed during the game, as he is out with a knee problem, reports The Telegraph. Arsenal would also be missing the services of Arteta, who is one of their important midfield players. There are other players too, from both the clubs who would not be available due to injuries and engagements with their national teams.
History says that these teams will come up with one of the most entertaining game in the EPL, full of action and extraordinary skills. Hence, it would be the fans that would be relishing the battle. It could be anyone’s game, though Manchester looks a better team on paper, at least.
