Motorola Devour, a Google Android OS phone by Motorola and Verizon Wireless was unveiled today. It has a 3.1 inch capicitive touchscreen, touch sensitive navigation pad, sliding keyboard access and preinstalled 8 GB MicroSD card.
A NEW Google Adroid OS smartphone, the Motorola Devour, will hit the markets in March. This phone, which was unveiled on Wednesday is a collaboration of Motorola and Verizon Wireless.
The Motorola Devour will have a 3.1 inch capicitive touchscreen, touch sensitive navigation pad, sliding keyboard access and preinstalled 8 GB microSD card. Its main USP is that it will let users connect to Motoblur, a social networking variant with a "happenings" widget that lets user monitor whats new on Facebook, Twitter and MySpace. This puts all updates, mails and texts from the three in a universal inbox.
It also access to 20000 apps from the Android Market, apart from preloaded Gmail, Google Talk, YoutTube, Google Search and Google Maps. The Google Android OS run Motorola Devour also has GPS.
The Motorola Blur will be available with a nationwide talk or nationwide talk and text plan from Verizon Wireless. While the telecom provider is giving the nationwide talk plan for $39.99 per month, the nationwide talk and text is available from $59.99 onwards. The Verizon Wireless data packafe starts from $29.99 for unlimited monthly access.
