Mountain Echoes 2011 would see a combination of literary people and Bollywood
The literary fest called Mountain echoes, to start from May 20th, will see a conglomeration of literary stars and Bollywood stars. The audience will have an interesting time interacting with all the hot shots of the society.
THE UPCOMING literary fest, Mountain Echoes 2011, will see a plethora of Bollywood directors and producers attending the event. The audiences will come face-to-face with many knowledgable people during the event and the participation will be a mixture of people belonging to the performing arts and the literary world.
 
Mountain Echoes 2011 is a literary fest organized by the India-Bhutan organisation and will showcase the literary culture of both the countries. The event, which will be attended by some known names of Bollywood will have events such as ‘Screenply to Screen’, ‘Words on Wheels’ and ‘Freeze Frame’. It is slated to be an interesting and literary-rich experience for the audience.
 
The actor who made a name for himself by playing unconventional roles in movies such as, “3 idiots, Tanu weds Manu and Rang De Basanti, would be chairing the event Screenplay to screen , where he would be having a conversation with the controversial author Shobhaa De and the producer Rohan Sippy.
 
Since R Madahavan is an avid reader and watching him would be a pleasure. Words on wheels, which would be chaired by Jaideep Sahni, of 'Company' fame would be conducted on the second day of the five-day fest, that will start on May 20.
 
Where on one hand audiences will come in contact with the renowned lyricists Gulzaar and Javed Akthar, on the other hand Indian authors such as Samit Basu, Namita Devidayal, Shobaa De, Valmik Thapar and Devdutt Pattanaik will also be with the audience, attending the fest.
 
It seems that the organisers have thought about all the sections of the society. Apart from Bollywood and the world of letters there will also be a section for the Rabindranath Tagore lovers. Called as ‘Ananda Dhara: The Stream of Joy’, the Tagore lovers will get to see wonderful choreography on select Rabindra  Sangeet.
