MS Dhoni visits Deori temple regularly
The Mahashakti Temple at Deori seems to be MS Dhoni's favourite, as he is a regular visitor to the temple. Though, he is hardly seen in other temples around India.

MS DHONI, the captain of the Indian cricket team hardly gets any time to stay with family due to  hectic cricket schedule. But there is something MS Dhoni doesn't compromise with – bowing before the deity at Mahashakti Temple whenever he visits his hometown Ranchi.

Post marriage, he has been spotted traveling along with his wife on tours as well – to spend quality time. But, when he goes back to his hometown, he makes it a point to visit the temple at Deori, 80 kilometres from Ranchi.

It is nice to see a person with self belief bowing down before the almighty, asking for  blessings. MS places God before oneself, irrespective of how confident he may look on the field.

After the Indian team's exit from the T20 World Cup, Dhoni decided not only to visit his hometown but also visit the temple, which has become a regular phenomenon for the player. As per this nnis video, MS has immense faith in this temple, as he comes for blessings before every tour. It seems to be true as the player has come to visit the temple again just before the start of the T20 Champions League, which is scheduled to start in a few days' time.

The priest of the temple also agrees that MS visits the temple to receive blessings. But the visits might not be necessarily related to cricket only, as the cricketer can visit the temple for personal reasons as well.

Though, MS does sometimes visit other temples as well. Not all visits are known to the general public. The one that immediately that comes to one's mind is his visit to Pashupatinath shrine in Nepal.
