Mulayam likely to get EC notice, claims innocence
Yadav, reportedly annoyed over the cancellation of arms licenses by Mainpuri district magistrate Ministhy Dileep, warned that he would file a complaint with the election commission if she did not change her ways.

ALREADY UNDER the Election Commission scanner for distributing cash among people on Holi, Samajwadi Party supremo is most likely to get hauled over his alleged controversial remarks against a woman poll officer.

Yadav, reportedly annoyed over the cancellation of arms licenses by Mainpuri district magistrate Ministhy Dileep, warned that he would file a complaint with the election commission if she did not change her ways.

He is alleged to have made this remarks, while opening a party office in Mainpuri on Monday (March 23).

Alleging that the DM had lost her sense of proportion for failing to differentiate between criminals and common people, the SP leader asked her to get her 'head checked' and mend her ways within a week.

These controversial utterances of Yadav, however, landed him in a soup after the election commission took cognizance of these remarks. Consequently, the UP chief electoral officer, on Tuesday (March 24), forwarded a report on this matter to the commission along with the footage.

Even as the election commission examines the tapes, the Samajwadi chief claimed that he was innocent and had not committed any wrong. He maintained that no derogatory or threatening remarks were made against the government official.
