Multicultural and diverse Houston is famous for both educational and holiday fun tours
For both visitors and tourists, Houston is a big-time city with a peculiar southern multicutural style of living, that can be visited at reasonable budgets for enjoying the thrills of the city and the nearby sea which can be reached with half an hour drive, tells my wife who visited the city two years ago to attend the marriage of her nephew.

Houston is a modern city of the United States famous for its savoury barbecues, high-end shopping and blues music. However, for the visitors and tourists, Space Centre, Museum of Natural Science, various private art museums and Houston Aquarium are the best places to see.

Space Centre in Houston is a popular destination for the visitors that has inspired young people to learn more about science, technology, engineering and mathematics right from its opening in 1992. The Centre is home to more than 400 space artifacts to provide jaw-dropping space-age thrills to the visitors and children in particular.

At the downtown aquarium, visitors love the tour of colourful, captivating undersea landscapes as varied as a sunken shipwreck and tanks full of red-bellied piranhas, frightening stingrays and sharks. The local zoo is another big attraction for children and youth.

Within the US, the Houston Museum of Natural Science is one of the most visited museums that is flocked by students from schools and colleges. The Museum houses four floors of exhibit halls which take almost half a day to visit it properly. The most liked are the two floors of the Museum namely the Morian Paleontology Hall, and the Cullen Hall of Gems and Minerals.

Chinatown and the Mahatma Gandhi District of the city offer a picturesque view of Houston's multicultural makeup with all kinds of restaurants, bakeries, antique furniture, traditional-clothing boutiques, and specialty shops .

However, the most enjoyable is the visit to the nearby sea with harbours, islands, beaches, ships, sea gulls, water sports, boating and ferrying. For the holidaymakers, the most interesting is the visit to the sea and the Kemah Boardwalk where rides, shops, music and Texas-sized tastes all come together along the beautiful Galveston Bay. The place can be reached by 30 minutes drive to cool off in the sea breeze. People on holiday, also visit Galleria Waterwall Park which has a multi-story sculptural fountain in which 11,000 gallons of water is sent cascading down the water wall per minute.
