Mumbai terror and after
People regardless of culture, religion, caste and other differences raised their voice over the Mumbai terrorist strike at Hotel Taj and Trident Oberoi. They made it clear that they will not tolerate incapable politicians and governments
BANGLAORE, AHMEDABAD, Delhi, Assam now 26 November, 2008 Mumbai, attack is a tight slap on the face of the intelligence agencies and the security system. More then 150 people lost their lives including security personnel.

People regardless of culture, religion, caste and other differences raised their voice in the same tone over the Mumbai terrorist strike at Hotel Taj and Trident Oberoi. They made it clear that they will not tolerate incapable politicians and governments, which has nothing to do with nation’s welfare except giving solace. People of a democratic country are the epicenter so their desires are important.

Apart from that our politicians are adding fuel to the fire by ridiculous remarks and pointing fingers at martyrs. It seems that they have lost all sense of shame. One the one hand people of India are showing their patriotism and anger against terrorism and Pakistan, the epicentre of terrorism. People of Mumbai made a chain of thousands and performed prayers to pat tribute to the martyrs.

On the other our politicians are making ridiculous comments relating to martyrs. How can they realize the feeling of loosing someone? Our leaders only make statements like ’we won’t tolerate terrorism’, but have no commitment to fulfill the words.

A survey by INDIA TV revealed how much people are angry at Pakistan and its ISI endorsed terrorism. The terrorist Amir Ajmal Kasab, a resident of Faridkot in Pakistan, revealed where and by whom they were trained. Thereafter he is asking for a legal counsel from Pakistan in handling his case.

Now it’s time to take stern action and to recognize foe and friend of India. Our policies are outdated. We should learn from Russia, that how it invaded Georgia and saved its national interest.

People are now ready to sacrifice themselves for national interest, as recently Amir Khan said ’there is no need to save my son, if caught by terrorist’. It was shameful and ridiculous statements given by people at the time of Air India’s IL 814 hi-jacking. Means how we can give Kashmir or the whole nation to terrorists for saving a few people.

The Mumbai terrorist strike shocked and woke up people from deep sleep of liberalism and tolerance as Amar Nath Shrine Board case had done. It is becoming true that " Magnimity has its own limit".
