Mumbai's Marathon Man Raj Vadgama impressed with Gurgaon's running culture
Raj Vadgama, who is an interior designer wants to enter into the prestigious Guinness Book of World Records by running the fastest 10,000 km cross -country in 120 days. Yesterday, he was in Gurgaon for Bharathon.
He also talked about the sporting culture in Gurgaon. He said, ''When I ran here in 2012, only two people joined me. Today, more than 50 people ran with me. Running culture is taking hold in the city," as was reported by

Vadgama also feels there is no age limit for an activity like running as people need to keep their body fit and workout in also necessary. One needs to understand that such kind of an activity must be made a part of the daily routine, especially with the lifestyle we have been acquainted to.

The interior designer has chalked out his plan, where he has decided to cover 70 cities in just 120 days, which would be an incredible feat.                                                        

He made up his mind to cover 70 cities within 120 days for which he started running from Mumbai's Gateway of India on Independence Day.

As per the information, he has run for the distance of 1500 km including Mumbai, Surat, Vadodara, Ahmadabad, Udaipur, Ajmer and Jaipur. He will also cover the running in Punjab, Jammu and Kashmir, Kargil, Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh, Bihar, Bengal, Meghalaya and Tamil Nadu and it is expected to end on December 12.
