MAKING AND eating pasta can be a fun experience, and perfectly suits preparing a dish to celebrate and just to experiment a little with a popular Italian dish. The ingredients for Mushroom Fettuccine Pasta are:
About 400gm of mushroom, cut into pieces
chopped garlic – 6 cloves
chicken stock – 1 cube
Italian seasoning – 1 tsp
pepper – 1 tsp
salt according to taste
all purpose flour – 2 tbsp
Parmesan Cheese – 2 tbsp
Basal leaves few
olive oil – 1 tbsp
extra virgin olive oil – 1 tbsp
First, boil the water and add the pasta and some salt in the boiling water. Now, the next step is to sort the mushrooms and garlic while pasta is getting ready, dilute the chicken stock into the hot water. When the mushroom is almost done, then add the all-purpose flour or maida to thicken the sauce. The excess water in the mushroom will be absorbed when you add flour to it.
Now add the chicken stock to the mushrooms to get a lovely thick gravy. Remember, that the chicken sauce already contains some amount of salt and be careful when you add salt to the dish. Add some pepper and Italian seasoning to the dish, this will give a beautiful flavor to the dish.
Strain the pasta and add this into the gravy, the pasta will absorb the excess juice in the gravy which will help the pasta to be flavoursome. Add some Basil, the herb that we use in Italian dishes, which give them an amazing flavor.
Now, keep it on medium low flame and gently mix it, so that it mixes up with the gravy nicely. The last thing to do is to add the extra virgin olive oil to finish off the pasta. Now the pasta is done, garnish it with Parmesan cheese, before serving.
