Music review: I Hate Luv Storys
Music of I Hate Luv Stories is composed by the duo of Vishal-Shekhar. The movie has five original songs followed by three remixes. Over all, a good album to buy. The music of the movie is also available at various portals for free.
MUSIC OF I Hate Luv Storys is composed by the duo of Vishal-Shekhar. The movie has five original songs followed by three remixes.

The title track, I Hate Luv Storys, is energetic and has a trademark touch of Vishal Dadlani. The lyrics is mixed in Hindi and English but is appealing. Vishal has sung it smoothly and seems to enjoy the song which is the best part of it. The beats sound nice to ears. You can’t take your ear off and it finishes fast!

Jab Mila Tu is again sung by Vishal. The lyric is the high point of the song. Vishal sings it in ‘Farhan Akhtar’ style, a somewhat stuck voice. The song is not as flowing as the title track. May be because it is slow and the lyrics demands it that way. Still a good song to hear.

Bahara by Sunidhi Chauhan sounds better than the Rahat Fateh Ali Khan’s. Rahat has sung the Chill version which doesn’t have his signature sound. More of music and his haunting melody is lost in it somewhere. Whereas, Sunidhi’s original version is a treat to hear. After a long gap, she has sung a song which will have an audience!

Sadka is another song which is very good. Both, Suraj and Mahalaxmi, have done justice to equally beautiful lyrics. It is the song which will surely catch the attention of the listeners after a while. The song starts slow but picks up and retains the attraction of mind till it ends.

All the versions of Bin Tere (original, reprise, remix) are good but they are not the best of the album. The song is slow and lyrics is the high point.

Overall a good album to buy, though it is available at various portals for free.
