There are few theatres in India especially in metropolitan cities such as Pune, Mumbai & Bangalore, where they have this practice of playing the national anthem before the start of a movie. In one such theatre in Mumbai, a Muslim family didn't stand up during the national anthem and the people present in the theatre reacted very aggressively over it and asked the family to leave the theatre.

The 2.40 minute video clip shows the audience creating ruckus. In the video a man along with few others could be seen making sure that the movie doesn't start until the Muslim family leaves the PVR theatre. Some people even questioned the family as to why they could not stand for the national anthem when they can sit for four hours to watch the movie. Under pressure from the crowd, the family felt helpless and had to leave the theatre.

Though the authenticity of the video is yet not clear, but according to few reports its been said that the incident took place during a noon show of 'Tamasha' at PVR Kurla in Mumbai.

As the video got viral on social media with more than 2500 shares, the Twitteratis started reacting over the issue. Though most of them supported the whole incident, but there are also people who questioned the need of playing the national anthem before a movie.
