Rafael Nadal and Andy Murray would be playing against one another in the semi-finals of Wimbledon 2011. Both players have defeated some class players en route to the semi finals in a convincing manner.

The crowd would be able to witness some stiff competition between these two players who have been tagged as favourites to lift aloft the title. After Federer’s exit from the competition, their chances of being crowned as Wimbledon winners have increased too.Nadal has been consistent in the tournament, though he had some trouble with his foot during one of the matches. The Spaniard has proved to be handful for most of his opponents. He has won all the matches with ease in the tournament. But, he would not be expecting an easy outing against Murray, who will be backed by the home crowd.
Murray has to be clever in his approach as he cannot afford to involve Nadal in long rallies as that is where Nadal’s forte lies. So, Murray should play an aggressive game, which he normally does. Murray must also be high on confidence as he was the winner of the AEGON championships 2011. He defeated some of the best players in the circuit to win the grass court tournament just before the Wimbledon championship started.Everyone expects a great game on the cards. But, it would be unfair to choose between the two as it could be any one's game. The winner of this game would face the winner of the other semi final between Jo-Wilfried Tsonga and Novak Djokovic.
