Definitely, it is a part of his mega election campaign but can anyone challenge that “Chai Pe Charcha” is not one of the finest, most innovative and a perfect blend of tea and technology approach ever employed by a politician to get connected with millions of people?
With earphones in his ears at the Iskon Gathiya tea stall in western Ahmedabad, BJP's PM candidate was affianced with people at tea stalls across the country, discussing good governance and answering questions from people in between their sip of tea. Moreover colossal TV screens were transmitting the live interaction at 1000 tea stalls in 300 cities across the country. Isn't it for the first time in the history of democracy that a politician of such stature answers queries of a common man? Isn’t it a unique combination of sincere intent, novel idea and technology such as satellite, DTH, Internet and mobile phones?
When others are talking about cheap vote bank politics with reviled verbatim, here is a person who completely talks at a different level in terms of his great Indian vision. No one can deny that it is for the first time such a substantial policy dialogue happened in the Indian polity.
Has anyone in the past used such creative ways of campaigning before the Lok Sabha elections? (BJP managers say it is an out-of-the-box initiative that bucks traditional campaigning methods by facilitating discussion simultaneously in multiple locations). He can also use his creative methods for a better India.\
Undoubtedly the successful execution of this spectacular act has demonstrated the depth of NaMo's vision, indispensable experience and absolute brilliance of progressive thinking power. Moreover, it is now an established fact that not only he is an unbeaten visionary leader but an unstoppable statesman as well. Honestly, this outstanding venture should make his skeptic, cynic and his arch rivals silent who thinks he is only rhetoric.
NaMo has made me believe that India is surely going to be a superpower by 2020. (May be this is the reason why USA is looking for an appointment with him).
Each and every Indian should be proud of Narendra Modi for the way he has glorified the job of all tea vendors, though I feel little credit must also go to the big mouthed Mani Shankar Iyer for his untouchablility towards the working class. Only Modi can think of such a concept and implement without a glitch in such a short duration. He deserves to be the PM of India.
What congress was seeking as Modi's weakness, but, he has turned it into strength to interact and sway Indian voters. Isn’t is just like “if someone throws stone at you, throw a flower at them with a flower pot with it.”
Modi is the most popular and also the most hated. That's his paradox. But, it is also an undeniable fact that he is an innovative and imaginative in evoking progressive ways. He has an immense ability to take India into a completely different horizon of prosperity. Isn’t it?
