The Congress-Modi war of words has now been intensified by Congress senior leader Rashid Alvi, as he said that Narendra Modi is not interested in Gujarat now. He said that Modi's prime ministerial ambitions had diverted his mind from his duty towards the state as a Chief Minister and he was more concerned about winning votes than working for Gujarat's development and welfare.
As Gujarat strongman and BJP’s prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi is addressing a rally in UP’s Kanpur. This Congress Leader today took a dig against Narendra Modi saying that the leader was these days busy visiting other states and promising welfare to them, rather than doing something for his own state. Alvi also said that Modi was dreaming big and had lost interest in ruling Gujarat when compared to the whole nation.
Alvi further said that Modi's rallies in different states will not bring any difference in electoral process of congress. “He is not interested in Gujarat now, he is always out of the state. He does not care about Gujarat now and we have all the sympathy for the people there,” reported ANI.
This is not the first time when Alvi is hitting out Modi, earlier also he has accused the Gujarat Chief Minister, saying that he is misleading the people of the country through his speeches and he has also compared him (Modi) with 'Yamraj' the god of death. But, the Chief Minister of Gujarat always assured the people of Gujarat through his speeches in various occasions that, he will be serving the people of Gujarat.
