Narendra Modi to answer questions live on YouTube tonight
Narendra Modi, the Chief Minister of Gujarat, rarely gives media interviews and prefers well-chosen public interactions. Tonight, at 8 pm, Modi will field questions in Ahmedabad from around the world. The questions will be put up by actor Ajay Devgn, who will anchor the special event, the G + Hangout, on Narendra Modi's official YouTube Channel. This type of interaction will be the first of its kind by any Indian politician.

THE INTERACTION is being organized by the local Vivekananda Cell's Sports, Youth and Cultural Activities Department and Google +, or G +, Google's social media service. The basic idea is to reach out to the youth of India living within India and outside the country, as well as those above 30 years of age anywhere in the world. Some of the questions, made public on Narendra Modi's official YouTube channel, indicate that people are curious about the rare mix of modernity and traditions in Gujarat, which is celebrating the 150th anniversary of Swami Vivekananda.

The questions that will be asked have already been received, with August 29 as the last date of submitting questions - with questions being received via Facebook, Twitter and Narendra Modi's personal website. One young person has asked Narendra Modi why there is never power outage in Gujarat, and how did he accomplish this? A young lady has asked, "When you were a student, did you ever imagine you will have to handle such a big responsibility as running of a state?". And a senior citizen observed, "Can culture and economic development operate side by side.

Those who missed out on sending their questions for the Hangout, whose theme is 'Strong and Glorious India Long Cherished by Swami Vivekananda', can watch Narendra Modi tonight answering questions live at www.youtube.com/narendramodi from 8pm(IST) onwards. US President Barack Obama and Australian Prime Minister Jilia Gilliard have participated in such Google + Hangouts.

He is one of the new age leaders who is always in favour of use of technology for growth of the state. He is far better than the Amul baby who try to play cheap politics by spending nights in a poor's home and showcase himself as the messiah of the downtrodden.
