A full level delegation talk has taken place between Narendra Modi and his counterpart. A total of 24 bilateral agreements have been signed between India and China. After the signing ceremony, Prime Minister Modi and Premier Li addressed the media and Modi said to the media that, "I am pleased to visit China in the first year of my Government. This is one of our most important strategic partnerships."

He also added saying, "I sought tangible progress on issues relating to visa policy and trans-border rivers. I also discussed some of our regional concerns." A good news to Indian pilgrims is the Nathu La route for Indian pilgrims to visit Kailash Mansarovar will become operational in June.

Modi feels that this is one of the most important strategic partnerships for both the countries. The re-emergence of India and China and their relationship will have a profound impact on the two countries and the course of this century.

The Indian PM also said that the conversation between him and President Xi and Premier Li was moving in a positive direction and it was a candid, constructive and friendly conversation, which included the issues that troubled the smooth development of the relationship.

Coming to the boundary issues Modi said that a fair, reasonable and a mutually acceptable resolution has to be explored. Bilateral cooperation was a very important part of our discussion. A high level of ambition for our economic partnership has been set.

Cooperation in the Railways, Chinese industrial parks in Gujarat and Maharashtra, Make in India mission and infrastructure sector etc. are few things which are in priority.
