Nargis Fakri modeled to travel around the world

The actress who charmed everyone with her innocent looks is long absent from Bollywood. But she is just hibernating and will be back soon for her fans.

NARGIS FAKHRI, the Rockstar girl completely vanished after the film. She did get the review that she cannot act after the film but that has not stopped anyone in Bollywood from making a career (read Sunny Leone).

Thus it was a surprise when she was not seen in any Page 3 parties or linkups about her were not heard in the industry. According to the actress, the team managing her work did not want her to pick up anything and everything and so she waited but has now signed two interesting projects.

Born to a Pakistani father and a Czech mother, Fakri had a difficult childhood with her parents divorced and her mother never able to move on with her life without her father. Fakhri started working when she was 12 years of age and traveled the world - thanks to her modeling career. From an interview given to The Times of India, it seems that she was in love with traveling and modeling was just a means to an end. However after Rockstar, she knew that she would be tied to India for a long time.

Coming from a Pakistani family, Fakhri always felt a special affinity to India and its culture. Thus when she got an opportunity to work with Imtiaz Ali, she went for the narration of the script and cried listening to the story and her reaction shortlisted her as Heer Kaul, cast opposite Ranbir Kapoor in Rockstar. During her work in India, she became close to Ranbir Kapoor and Imtiaz Ali as well as got a friend in Neetu Kapoor.

Hopefully her fans would see more of her in Bollywood and she would be able to improve on her acting skills to have a long and good Hindi film career.
