The annual all-star event features a special format with a 10-lap Saturday night shootout reminiscent of the sports' roots at short-tracks around the country. Drivers and teams go head-to-head on home turf to take home $1 million. The past six years a different driver has won the race.
The NASCAR all-star 2009 winner Tony Stewart included among the favorite of 2010 winner. The previous five winners Kasey Kahne, Kevin Harvick, Jimmie Johnson, Mark Martin and Matt Kenseth chances is also very fair to win the NASCAR all-star race. Jeff Gordon has won the most of any current driver with three wins, while Mark Martin and Jimmie Johnson each have won twice.
