NASCAR Sprint All-Star Race 2010: Catch live action
The format of the race is specially done on the 1.5 mile superspeedway. Well it is not only about racing action. The organizers of the events have organized a pre-race concert. There will be performances by various rock bands like Creed.
 
CHARLOTTE MOTOR Speedway this Saturday will be ready to face some real racing action. May 22  is the day for the NASCAR All-Star race 2010 edition and the right time is sharp 9pm (EST) The drivers and teams will not only be aiming at top scores, but also at the top prize of amount $1 million.
 
The format of the race is specially done on the 1.5 mile superspeedway. Well it is not only about racing action. The organizers of the events have organized a pre-race concert. There will be performances by various rock bands like Creed. The band has won Grammy in 2001, they broke up some time back, but will unite specially for the Sprint NASCAR event.
 
On such an awesome track, every year one gets to catch up with pre-race tailgaters, and various other performers. Last year NASCAR 2009 title was lifted by Jimmie Johnson who packed in $328,826 as the prize amount.
 
The race first started in 1985, but was held under different names. Finally in 2008, it was decided that the race will be known as NASCAR Sprint All-Star. Jeff Gordon is the recipient of the winners title most of the time, despite the name change. After that Jamie Johnson claimed the title twice. Johnson was the first to take home the prize amount in million dollars.
