National Seminar lauds Urdu literature's role in maintaining peace and harmony
National Urdu Seminar held at Bhadrak in Odisha lauded the role of Urdu literature in maintaining peace, amity and harmony across the country and resolved unanimously to work for the betterment of the society.
Dr Musir Alam of the Odisha Urdu Academy inaugurated the two-day national seminar with the topic 'Urdu Shairee Mein Jadidiat Ki Samt O Raftar' organised by Rizwani Welfare Association of Bhadrak and sponsored NCPUL, Government of India.

Dr Alam expressed his pleasure as the association has been working successfully in promoting the spread of Urdu literature, which is being helpful in maintaining harmony across the country.

Prof M A Nabi had chaired the literary session in which Urdu scholars from Delhi, Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh and other states presented their literary works. Dr Khalid Mubsasir of Jamia Milia Central University had grassed the seminar and praised the scholars for their worthy literary works.

Noted Urdu poet Janab Altaf Nadir had chaired the poem session in which Dr Adil Dayat, Dr Khalid Mubsasir, Jawed Hassan, Dr Faizan Saheed, Dr Anwarool Haq, Altaf Nadir and others recited Urdru poems. Sureya Begum, Jissan Akhtar, Nuroon NIsha and Naim Ali Shah have been felicitated for their achievement in secondary examination.
