Natural wonder Loch Lomond in UK with jewel like islands where vistors and tourists unwind
During my school attachment in Scotland as a part the course in school techonology course on Commonwealth Fellowship in 1977, I visited Loch Lomond for a few hours since it is a natural sightseeing place and I did have the time and money to stay.

Loch Lomond or 'Lake of the Elms', known as UK's natural wonder, is a freshwater Scottish loch close to the Trossachs National Park .

Loch Lomond has a surface area of 71 square km which is the largest lake in Great Britain by surface area which has many islands. However, the most visted is the largest  Inchmurrin Island. I have the information broucher of the 'Leisure and Receation Department' of Glasgow  which recommends scenic walks for leisure and relaxation.

Both, visitors and tourists come to the lake. However, the vistors come for a few hours to have a picnic or short adventure of boating. For tourists, it is a popular leisure with resorts around the lake which are surrounded by hills and lush green cultivated lands. Various islands in this large lake look like green jewels, the hoteiers tell. Mere watching the sparkling water and lush green islands relaxes people.

In some resorts, English travel writer, H.V. Morton's description can be seen which goes like this:

What a large part of Loch Lomond's beauty is due to its islands, those beautiful green tangled islands, that lie like jewels upon its surface!

Many trekkers go around looking for local flora and fauna to click their photographs. Also, some people watch different kinds of fish swimming around.  The red deer and hares have become people friendly because of being fed by the tourists.
