The psyche of naxals has transformed and contemporarily has taken an aggressive and voilant path its systemic presence is threatening the democracy at large sabotaging peace .......

NAXALISM IS a problem that is the most important internal security threat in contemporary scenario. Its systemic presence has sabotaged the peace and security within. The blame game has always been there by the centre and state that it’s state problem and should be looked by them but what the time demands is better coordination and strategic implementation of concrete initiatives. The nutshell is that naxals are running a parallel government and the democracy is at threat and we are busy demonstrating crisis as if democracy means demonstration of crisis.

The psyche of Naxalism has evolved slowly and they have taken an aggressive extension now by getting violent and killing innocent people by blasting railway tracks, schools and attacking on police. The greatest problem is that there is no single person you can point out as naxals it’s the entire village as such it becomes a daunting task to pin point and shoot the culprit. This is further aggravated by the supports from villagers.

It has been more of a political stunt today and has been widely used by politicians for their benefit. More than 200 people have lost their lives in these activities. Are these violent path correct or not is the question being posed, But the truth has a different facet too these naxals does not allow any development to reach the poor adivasis. The government schemes are far beyond reach in these areas. The adivasis are brain washed in name of their situation and are encouraged to take the violent path.

The truth is that we Indians are more in to endless debate when fire is at home. The first and foremost thing should be to extinguish the fire by any means instead of indulging in to who when where why and how. The common man has been kept in dark and it’s high time that all necessary steps should be taken to crush the naxals by the laws of land.

Operations like green hunt will be a step that will surely lead to killing of innocent tribals too. Dantewada incident should be eye opener and the violent strategy should be curtailed. The pressure should be built by strongly taking action against them. Let a war against Naxalism get initiated its time of action now. The bottom line is that the hunger and development issues should be effectively tackled in the background in parallel with action against Naxalism.
