The Syracuse Orange is in good form in the early rounds of the competition. Wes Johnson is doing pretty well for Syracuse and will be a huge factor again on Thursday. Butler squeezed past Murray State 54-52 in the second round . Butlers will have to play exceptionally well against Syracuse if they want to win. Syracuse chances are better to win against Butler.
West Virginia is playing consistently well throughout the tournament. Sean Butler is the key factor of West Virginia. During the early rounds Washington played quite well. Washington chances are more positive than West Virginia.
Jordan Crawford had a huge game for Xavier on Sunday night, scoring 27 points in the victory against Pittsburgh. Kansas State came from behind to defeat BYU 84-72 with a powerful second half effort. Both teams are equally balanced. Kansas St. chances are slightly better than Xavier.
Kentucky is now most favorable team in bracket. They are looking unstoppable in complete tournament. Cornell is not as strong as Kentucky. This game will be played in Syracuse, which means that the fans will be rooting for David against Goliath.
