Need of the hour is collectivity, connectivity, and creativity: PM Modi to youth
Inaurating four-day of National Youth Festival on the theme "Youth for Digital India" at Rohtak via video conferencing,, Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, on January 12, said that the life of Swami Vivekananda showed what one could achieve at a young age. The work that the youth was doing today would impact the future of the nation.

Modi urged the youth to guide people on increased cashless transactions telling them that both Corruption and black money adversely affect the progress of the nation.

He added that the need of the hour was collectivity, connectivity, and creativity. He said that the support from the youth in the fight against corruption convinces him that it is possible to bring a positive change in the nation.

Addressing the participants, Union Minister Vijay Goel said that the Indian youth had always been highly talented, hard-working and enterprising and therefore, the government wants participation of youth in every aspect of the country's development through education and skill development.

According an official release, about 5,000 participating youth delegates from different States/UTs will enrich their knowledge and exchange their experiences during the festival.

A performance on the life and ideology of Swami Vivekanand was highlight of the opening ceremony during which Haryama's CM Manohar Lal Khattar was also present.
