NEFOWA asks the buyers to register their refusal against Supertech group
Once again Supertech Ltd. has found a new way to cheat the flat buyers and is cleverly taking away the powers granted to them by court. A large number of flat buyers of ECO VILLAGE and Oxford Square projects of Greater Noida West registered their complaints to NEFOWA that Supertech Ltd. has sent them "Form-B" which has to be duly filled-in & signed.

The mail sent by the Supertech officials to the buyers states that the said form is required to protect the rights and investment of the buyers. In contrary, as per the form, the buyer affidavits the builder to make additions and/or alterations in the project with an approval of competent authority. It seems Supertech have cleverly added following clause in its edited version of Form-B which states as:

“I hereby give my consent in terms of Uttar Pradesh Apartment (Promotion of Construction , Ownership & Maintenance) Act, 2010 to M/s Supertech Limited or any of its SPV executing the project named above to make additions and/or alterations in the project subject to the approval of the competent authority” which was not mentioned in the original form – B.

This has created great confusion among the flat buyers whether they shall agree or not with the same as doing so, may further trap them. In this regard NEFOWA has decided for a meeting with Supertech officials at Supertech office (Noida) tomorrow on 10th May (Saturday) at 11 AM in which all Supertech flat buyers will join in large number.

NEFOWA has also requested the Flat buyers of all other projects of Greater Noida West to join them and support Supertech flat buyers as very soon all will receive these type of letters from their respective builders, as they have already constructed extra towers and floors. They have also directed all the flat buyers of Supertech to register their refusal against signing the letter through email & registered post as well to the builder and to ask them to provide ORIGINAL form B (not edited version) and insist for Form 12A of UP Apartment Act 2010 as well.

NEFOWA will also complain at GNIDA office and Uttar Pradesh Govt. against Supertech. U.P. Apartment Act 2010 which provides buyers a shield against the wrongdoings of the builders. Under this ACT, Builder must provide the flat buyers "Form A", which contains all details about the project. But the flat buyers never received “Form A” and are forcefully demanded to sign the edited version of “Form B” by Supertech. It clearly indicates the intention of the said builder.
