New Delhi to host one-day symposium on 'Creativity as the Future Skill'
A one-day symposium on 'Creativity as the Future Skill' is going to be organized at India Habitat Center Delhi on April 6. "In the new world of technology that is upon us, creative and critical thinking is the order of the day. It is the driving force behind innovation," states one of the key speakers at the event, Mike Knowles.

"As technology is advancing, creativity is becoming one of the most important skills. Creativity is the key to stay ahead and build the future as we imagine. It has been talked of a crucial '21st-century skill', as an integral component of holistic education, and much more. In this conversation, we bring together some of the most creative people and discuss creativity as the skill of the future," inform the organizers - Rishihood University and their School of Creativity.

The symposium will marked by keynote address and panel discussions to address the issues such as : Why Emphasis on Creative Industries; What Does Industry Want from a Creative School; How do we Improve Design Education in India;  Creativity as the Skill of the Future; 21st Century - Creative Economy and India.

Some of the presenter and discussants are Peter DAscoli (Textile Designer); M M Pant (Educationist); Catherine Trotman  (FabIndia); Sunita Kohli (K12 Design) ; Aditya Dev Sood (Center for Knowledge Societies); Christine Rai (India Inc); Manika Walia (Ansal University); Pervin Malhotra (Career Coach); Kristine Michael (British School); Rajat Sharma (Chaos); Mike Knowles (Professor Emeritus, Rishihood University).

According to host of the event, India is a young county with a very bright future ahead. Given the right opportunity, our young people will make much-needed change and beyond. The team at Rishihood is dedicated to ensuring this happens.
