New Jewish Rabbi in Nevada
Jewish Rabbi Teri Appleby of Temple Sinai was installed as the Rabbi in Reno on Friday. The ceremony was presided over by Rabbi Steven Chester of Temple Sinai, Oakland, with clergy from several religions and denominations attending it.
IN A remarkable interfaith gesture, clergy belonging to various religions and denominations, participated in the installation ceremony of the new Jewish Rabbi Teri Appleby of Temple Sinai in Reno, on Friday, November 13 evening.
Rabbi Steven Chester of Temple Sinai, Oakland, presided over the ceremony which was attended by Rajan Zed, the president of the Universal Society of Hinduism and clergy belonging to Roman Catholic, Episcopal and the International Community of Christ.
The prominent clergy who attended the event, include Laurie Chappelle, Episcopal rector, Michael Slater, Chair of National Association of Interchurch and Interfaith Families, Stefani Schatz, Episcopal rector; Gene Savoy Jr., Bishop of International Community of Christ; Charles T Durante, Roman Catholic Pastor; Laureen Grady, Carmelite nun, Jake Margolis, President of Temple Sinai Reno and Joseph Duggan, Episcopal Rector.
