As Kim Jong-Un took charge as the next 'Great Leader' of North Korea, a statement released by the National Defence Commission stated that North Korea will not mend its ways, and will continue to take a stand against rival South Korea.
POST THE highly dramatised farewell to North Korean leader Kim Jong Il, the impoverished communist nation has served a statement to world leaders accredited to the powerful National Defence Commission. In the statement, as per CNN that read, "We declare solemnly and confidently that the foolish politicians around the world, including the puppet group in South Korea, should not expect any change from us," it is evident that the new “Great Leader” Kim Jong-Un too like his predecessors Kim Jong Il and Kim Il Sung will continue to pose as a potential threat to world peace.

The baby face ‘Great Leader’ Kim Jong-Un who is in his late twenties has taken charge, and will, in all likeliness, not try to amend relations with South Korean President Lee Myung-bak since they halted the no-strings-attached aid policy to North Korea in 2008.
Sending out a strong message that the country would stand united around Great Leader Comrade Kim Jong-Un, the title that was in the past used for the elder Kim and grandfather Kim Il Sung, North Korea will further look at intensifying its nuclear programs. In the past, a six nation’s talk regarding North Korea’s nuclear ambitions had been stalled. However, taking a note of the seriousness, the United States will be first country to send a senior official in the Korean Peninsula to take a note of current situation there. On Thursday, Kurt Campbell the American representative had held a twenty minute discussion with South Korean defence chiefs along with their American counterparts.
