WHEN WE think about the wedding ceremony, a lot of questions come to our mind. And the most striking question that comes first is - which place would be suitable? Recently, a New York city couple tied the knot in a rather strange fashion. They tied the knot in an aircraft which was thousands of feet above the surface of the earth. Don't you think its sound weird? Well, conventional weddings are taking a new format. There are a lot of couples taking their wedding vows in ships, zoo parks and forts.

Marriage is a one-time affair. No wonder people want to make the most of it so that the pleasant memories stay with them forever. Each and every person has a dream regarding his/her wedding. They try to make it different from others so that it is remembered for a long time. Mohit Malik, a marine executive officer, chose a 'cruise' for their wedding venue. He recalls,“The entire cruise was lit up. We had fire alter set up and musicians on the deck. We exchanged our garlands in cheerful weather. People still remember the wedding, and it makes us feel proud.”

A number of couples want to tie the knot in open surroundings, with plenty of greenery. Another new concept that has come up is that of mass marriage. And then there are other couples want to do away with the traditional rituals and go in for a simpler marriage. In fact, most couples have some unique ideas for marriage. One of my friends wants to get married on an island. In fact, some of them wanted to get married near the Taj Mahal, because it is a symbol of love. What would be your idea of a memorable marriage?
