Next PM must focus on basics, rather than showing the mirage
Elections are in the air… world is looking at us….. what will be the fate of India…. Who is going to lead the nation of immense possibilities and potency, who will be the next mentor, who will explore and harness the true potentials of its citizens.
Who so ever the next leader be, leading the nation for its best…. As a mango people what concerns us is the next leader must focus on basics, rather than showing the mirage without even touching the grass root issues of this nation.

Let's focus on how the two most promising leaders are portraying themselves to the nation.

One of them talks like, he has just landed on this planet from some other galaxy… talking about the issues, which they must have addressed long back.

Another leader leading one state for more than a decade, what he portray doesn’t seems to be the reality, for sure the state he represents is developed and shall be role model for other states. Coming back to the basics, same state is liquor prohibited but one can easily purchase liquor in any part of the state, doesn’t it is a serious question mark on the state’s law and order situation.

Education (quality education) is key to development, than why we don’t even have a single educational institute competing with global top 100, why this visionary leader wasn’t able to set up a education institute of such repute even after a decade.

Now coming to the state having maximum number of seats, one of the backward states of nation has everything to be the most developed state globally, what it all needs… visionary leader working for the overall development and thinking beyond politics.

The current leadership and its actions are classic case study how to ruin any state, they have distributed laptops and tablets to students. Has anyone given any attention on how this gazettes will function when most of its population only gets the electricity supply for hardly 8-10 hours in a day. The State government promising to pay unemployment allowances to its youth, but why aren’t they focusing on creating employment for them. Maximum number of people from this state migrate to other states to earn their livelihood.

Coming back to the basics why the state governments are not focusing on basic key issues. One of the most crucial issue is quality education. Why normal people do not want to send their kids to government schools and ending up in paying huge money to private schools. Isn’t it the responsibility of the state government to take its primary and secondary education system at par with international standards.

Why can’t state government install biometric machines to track and monitor the resources in schools, why still traditional courses at university level, why aren’t we focusing on education that will make the resources skillful, independent and help them in getting a good job in market.

Why people are so casual, why majority of people aren’t responsible, why system can’t make them responsible and accountable for what they are doing. Visit any rural area of this nation and interact with any of the officials (government or private) and feel they way you get treated. Visit any PHC (primary health center) and discover the condition of facilities and witness the treatment given by the responsible authorities out there.

The bottom line is, the change will only come when each and every one of us will start delivering and taking accountability of what we do. Politician’s needs to be more focused on social, ecological and overall sustainable development issues.
