Nico Hulkenberg replaces Adrian Sutil for Force India next season
Sutil, who earned 42 points last season, would be replaced by Nico Hulkenberg as Force India driver for the next F1 season (2012). Hulkenberg was the test driver for Force India last season.

ADRAIN SUTIL, who was the best driver for Force India in Formula 1 this season, will no longer be part of the 2012 team, when they start a new season. He had finished with 42 points in the drivers’ championship race. The Times of India reported that he would be replaced by the team’s reserve driver of German nationality, Nico Hulkenberg, who was their test driver during the season. Sutil might move to be a driver for the Williams team for the next season.

Hulkenberg, who kick started his career with karting in 1997 at the age of 10 has not looked back since then. Everyone has been impressed with the performance of Hulkenberg during the training session; hence he has been given the driver’s seat for next season in 2012. He has come through the ranks as he has been part of major races around the world, namely, Formula BMW, A1 Grand Prix, and Formula Three and GP2 series.

It was very wise move for Team Force India to grant him the driver’s seat, as he has the much needed experience in F1 with the Williams team in 2010. He has even got a pole position once with Williams and has a total of 22 career points in F1. It sems the driver has the potential to score some important points for Force India. Force India would be expecting the driver to deliver the goods next season. Paul Di Resta, who drove for Force India last season, too, would be sticking with the same team this season. They need to combine well to carry the Force India flag high.

With Nico on board, Force India would be expecting to improve upon its performance from last year, when they were sixth in the constructor’s championship out of a total of 12 teams, and finished with only 69 points in the constructors, which is a team championship. Constructor here refers to the constructor of the engine, the chassis, or the person who owns the intellectual rights to the engine.
