The NJ state trooper was allegedly shot dead on Wednesday morning on an exit ramp of the Garden State Parkway in Wall. He was still to be identified by the police but they have confirmed that he was a trooper and the cause of the death was gunshot.

The body of the dead NJ state trooper was found at around 7:30 AM. There are many detectives who are investigating the case with the state police. According to an agency statement, the state police and the detective are not looking on any additional clues at the moment rather they are concentrating upon the circumstances that lead to shooting.

Just 10 days ago another NJ State trooper, Marc Castellano died after being struck with a car.  Trooper Marc Castellano died as he was struck by a car on Route 195 on 6th June. The name of the NJ State trooper shot this time has not been released yet.

It has become a cause of concern for the department as it is second case of state trooper death. Whether or not it is an attempt to target the state agency is not clear as it may well be a case of personal animosity. Still, an organised attempt to target the agency cannot be ruled out. The further updates on it will come later on the day as there is no other official word on the case as yet.
