The Aarushi Talwar murder case has seen many ups and downs right from the beginning. Initially it was under the investigation of Noida Police, who thought it was the handiwork of family servant Hemraj, they even announced a reward on his head.
THE MYSTERY surrounding the horrific murder of Aarushi Talwar and her family's domestic help Hemraj continues to flummox the authorities as the duo arrested for possessing Aarushi’s mobile were let off by the CBI on Wednesday (16th September).
Aarushi Talwar, the 14-year old daughter of a dentist couple in Noida was found murdered on May, 16, 2008 at her Jalvayu Vihar residence with her throat slit. The sensational murder hogged the media limelight for months but even after over one year the obscurity surrounding the brutal murder has remained vague. Even though CBI grilled Ramphool and Kusum, the duo caught in connection with the Aarushi Talwar’s mobile phone last Saturday, they failed to extract any thing concrete that could have played a vital role in solving the inexplicable murder case.
Senior investigating officers also took the maid Kusum to the park in sector 37 from where she found the cell phone but were clueless in establishing how the cell phone used by Aarushi Talwar reached sector 37 in Noida, who threw it there and what happened to the SIM card? Although police officials have sent the cell phone recovered from Ramphool for forensic tests but they are not willing to divulge anything in this connection as they have been continuously receiving criticism for failing t o solve the heinous murder case. The Aarushi Talwar murder case has seen many ups and downs right from the beginning. Initially it was under the investigation of Noida Police who thought it was the handiwork of family servant Hemraj, they even announced reward on the head of Hemraj as he was found missing but the theory soon backfired when the dead body of Hemraj was recovered from the terrace of the Talwar’s home. The case took another ugly turn when Noida Police arrested Dr Rajesh Talwar, father of Aarushi charging him with the double murder and even an alibi was putforth to support this argument. Later on the case was transferred to CBI, and since June 2008 even the high profile CBI sleuths known across India for solving many cases related to crime and corruption are clueless, at least till know.
