FROM THE T20 champs last time around to their early exit from the world cup this year, the Indian cricket team has come through a full circle. On Monday (June 22), ICC announced T20 world XI squad and it was no surprise to see that no Indians player was able to find a place in that squad. Victorious Pak team had four of their team members named in that squad.

The loss of Indian team does not mean that there is lack of talent in the team, but some wrong decision at times, some wrong team selection cost them the series. Some people might say that IPL was the main cause for their loss but that cannot be taken as an excuse. Players like Dilshan (Srilanka), Ab De Villires (SA), Malinga (SL) and many more played the IPL at same time performed well at T20 world cup.

When things start to go wrong it’s very hard to bring it back on the right track. It will be test of character of the Indian cricket team. How they perform in future tournaments will be interesting to see. Though there's no doubt that they are quite capable of sorting out things.

ICC's World Twenty20 squad includes:  Jacques Kallis (SA), AB de Villiers (SA), Shahid Afridi (Pak), Kamran Akmal (Pak), Chris Gayle (WI), Tilakratne Dilshan (SL), Mohammed Younus Khan (Pak, Skipper), Dwayne Bravo (WI), Wayne Parnell (SA), Umar Gul (Pak), Ajantha Mendis (SL), Lasith Malinga (SL)

there is nothing in blamng a team when they failed to succeed. victory and failure is two sides of a coin. the fact that india failed to imoress in T2o is awe inspiring, but as proffesionals, they will bounce back ..all the best for indian team to reagain mastery over the game.
