As has been proposed, the Dwarka-IFFCO chowk high speed Metro line's route will be changed to widen connectivity. More connectivity means more people will benefit from the facility but on the flip side it will cease to exist as the high-speed train as the number of stops increase.
RESIDENTS IN Gurgaon need to wait for a while to board the high-speed Metro link from their city as the Haryana Urban Development Authority (HUDA) and district planning department have suggested some changes in the earlier proposed route – apparently to bring facility to the doorsteps of more Gurgaonites.

According to The Times of India, HUDA officials have suggested the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) to divert the proposed route from Palam Vihar towards Rajiv Chowk through Atul Kataria Chowk and Sheetla Mata Mandir road.
In the previous plan, the ten-kilometre direct link was to have three stations at Bijwasan, Palam Vihar and Maruti Suzuki plant between Dwarka and IFFCO chowk. The line is believed to decrease the travelling time between Delhi and Gurgaon to only half an hour.
According to the newspaper, DMRC can conduct a fresh survey so that the facility is extended to a large number of people in the old and new city. The line is believed to take off significant part of road traffic between Delhi and Gurgaon.
According to previous plan, residents from Palam Vihar and industrial fraternity from IFFCO chowk made the significant part of commuters for the line and they, according to the plan were the ideal stops. The new plan would obviously bring the facility close to more people like Delhi-Faridabad line will benefit the students and industrialists alike but it at the same time will increase the time duration to reach Delhi - more stops means that the high speed Metro line will be a normal metro line.
