No sparkling reviews for Shirin Farhad ki to Nikal Padi

The sweet love story of two Parsi characters is also the debut movie of Bela Sehgal. Will Farah Khan launch another part of her career with this film?

'SHIRIN FARHAD Ki to Nikal Padi' would be known as the debut vehicle of 47-year-old Farah Khan and a older Boman Irani's first love story on silver screen. The film that released today is a comedy and is being termed as 'a sweet love story.'

Released after Ek Tha Tiger, this film would only do well if word of mouth publicity is positive for the film. However, so far, the ratings and reviews of the film have not been that great. Although Boman Irani has been praised yet again for his performance as has Farhad. The actor is the protagonist of the film who has a lingerie business in the film. Although he is surrounded by women all day, he is constantly on the look out of his better half. He has two grandmothers who are always trying to fix him up with one person or the other.

The film also portrays the in and out of the Parsi community and talks about how women are vanishing from the community. Many were of the opinion that Farah Khan could not match Boman Irani's performance. Although one cannot actually compare the seasoned actor with the choreographer-turned--director-turned-actor yet going by the trailer one feels that she did do a good job.
