Yesterday during the core group meeting, NEFOWA has decided that, to enforce the UP Apartments Act. by all the three authorities, it will intensify its protest to get the approval for the Act.

UP Apartment Act 2010, which has already been passed in the Vidhan Sabha, but still the Act hasn't been implemented in the Gautam Budha Nagar, and other cities of the state, and as a result of this many flat buyers are suffering.

NEFOWA in its letter has said that since past 3 to 4 years some builders in Noida, Noida Extension and other are cheating the ordinary people. It emphasized in its letter the need of a stringent legislation to be invoked.

NEFOWA has requested that all three authorities namely Gautam Budh Nagar Zone Authority (Noida, Greater Noida, Yamuna Authority) to enforce UP Apartments Act, 2010 to be issued strictly.

NEFOWA has written to the CEO of Greater Noida Authority Rama Raman about this issue in the past, and has appealed to take an initiative, but authorities are silent on the issue. This clearly states that the authority are involved in this scam.

They have also written to the concerned ministries of the Central Government about this, which is pending since years. They have requested them to introduce 'Real Estate Regulatory Bill' to be introduced in the current session of the Parliament.
