Noida Runs for the first time with Milind Soman and NoidaMoms
The 10th of August was special in many ways. Milind led Pinkathon's 3rd Promo Run in Noida with NoidaMoms to spread awareness about breast cancer and getting more women to adopt a healthier lifestyle. Entertainment City has turned pink.

Women of all age groups together with brothers took to the road to fitness at this first ever Pinkathon Run in Noida for a cause. The run started from Decathlon Noida, Entertainment City, Building AV 105, Sector 38A, Noida. Pinkathon had organized run for 3k, 5k, and 10k. This promo run was the promotion and preparation for the main Pinkathon Run on 14-Sept in Delhi.

The run was flagged off by Noida FONRWA President Shri N P Singh. Mr. Singh also ran for 3k to cheer the runners. Runners of all age group together with kids took to running for a cause. Kids had a blast at the event.

"Earlier Pinkathon Runs had only women running with Milind. Noida Pinkathon is special. We had invited brother to run with sisters to make this rakhi, a special day. This rakhi is not only brother committing to protect sisters but both brother and sister committing to a healthier lifestyle." said NoidaMoms founder Shruti Mittal.

Milind said "Today we all tie rakhi to each other to commit to a healthier lifestyle and pledge lifelong support, its no longer only sister tying rakhi brother." Also he repeated his slogan 'Each One Kheench One!', beckoning all to pull each others into a healthier life style.

Anamika a NoidaMoms associate, said "I was absolutely stunned to see Milind running bare feet all the way."

"I wish awareness campaign like these started much earlier in time. If cancer is detected in its first stage, I am sure cancer will easily loose its status as killer disease. Women are much stronger and can easily beat cancer any day, if women cared little more for themselves besides taking care of everything in this world." says Mrs. Asha Eran aged 80 years, a cancer survivor.

Many other running groups from Noida joined the run. DanceWoks as Ashley Lobo dance group from Noida performed for the runners at the event. NoidaMoms joined in to shake a leg with DanceWoks. Decathlon Noida made arrangements for water, juice, fruits and glucose for the runners. All organizers, participants and Pinkathon said they all were pleased withe response and peoples' participation in the event.
