Noida to get tallest skyscraper in North India
Noida will soon boast of the tallest tower in entire north India as real estate giant Supertech is building the 300-metre tall tower in the city but one expects that all the safety measures are put in place before residents move in.

NOIDA IS going to be the only city to boast of the tallest tower in the entire north India as a real estate giant Supertech performed Bhoomi Puja for its 300-meter tall mixed-use project in Sector - 94 couple of days ago.

The project will be built on 5 million sq ft land which will have five towers of 80 floors each. The Project will possess luxurious residences, with two five-star hotels within its parameter, spire suits, restaurants and the bars. It has been clarified by the promoters that they have already sought clearance from the Airport Authority of India and the fire department.

Will promoters develop their own power generation project to cater to the needs of residents and their heavy electronic appliances with growing demand of energy. Already the city faces an acute shortage of power even during the winter season so that would be a challenge for the developers. Also, providing ample water would be something, developers need to be sure of before going ahead with the project. While water is the most essential need in our day-to-day requirements, a proper reservoir needs to be put in place to meet the demand.

Will it meet the requirement of fighter jets during the exercises, etc. is something one thinks about after imagining the height of tower. Usually jets fly at lower heights during exercises so the project shouldn't prove to be a hindrance.

Are fire tenders well equipped with the platforms to cater to the emergencies at such heights? If various media reports are to be believed, currently they can only reach up to the height of 80 metres.

During the initial stages, developers make a lot of promises but later at the time of emergencies, as has been seen in the past, all the promises prove to be false. As it turns out, approvals are given under duress by various government departments, which are mostly political.

Though the Project is most welcome but the pros and cons must be carefully studied and worked out accordingly to avoid any mishaps at later stages.
