Nokia 6600i launched in India
Nokia has launched a brand new slider phone the Nokia 6600i in India. The newly launched 6600i has a 2.2 inch color TFT screen, a 5 mega pixel camera along with a double LED flash and auto focus with an 8X zoom. Available in Black and silver color.

The world’s leading mobile provider Nokia has launched a brand new slider phone the Nokia 6600i in India. The newly launched 6600i has a 2.2 inch color TFT screen, a 5 mega pixel camera along with a double LED flash and auto focus with an 8X zoom.
 
The Nokia 6600i has an internal memory of 20MB, which is expandable upto 16GB with the help of a micro SD card slot. The Nokia 6600i supports 3G, EDGE and GPRS. It also includes features like FM radio, maps, accelerometer sensors, Bluetooth and stereo headset.
 
 
The features of Nokia 6600i are:
 
 
5 mega pixel camera with 2592 x 1944 pixels
 
 
Dimension of 93 x 45 x 14 mm
 
 
Weighs only 110 gm and has a second camera
 
 
2.2 inch color TFT screen with color display of 16M colors
 
 
240 x 320 pixels resolution with double LED flash and autofocus with 8x zoom.

Network connectivity supports 3G, EDGE, GPRS, GSM, 3G, EDGE, GPRS, GSM, HSCSD, UMTS (3G) networks, 850,900, 1800, 1900, 2100 service.

Supports browsing with XHTML browser, Java MIDP2.0, OMA DRM 1.0 and 2.0.
 
 
It has an internal memory of20MB and an external memory upto 16GB.
 
 
It has a 1GB micro-SD card, FM radio and stereo headset.

Has a standard Li-Ion 1000 mAh (BL-4U) battery.
 
 
Standby time of 348 hours and talk time of 4 hours.
 
 
Supports formats such as MP3, AAC, AAC+, eAAC+ and WMA, and video player supporting 3GP, and MPEG4.

The nokia 6600i slider which is available in two colors of black and silver carries a price tag of Rs. 13000.

Dumb Symbian OS phone. Nokia has to come out of this. Same GUI, same HMI, I don't think this is any different from the existing phones of Nokia.
