FINNISH MOBILE company, Nokia has launched two sleek 3G slider phones, Nokia 6700 and Nokia 7230. They have swanky imaging features and can access social network communities.
The Nokia 6700 has 3G connectivity, five mega-pixel camera, 16 GBB micro SD memory card, FM radio and music player and 2.2 inch QVGA display. The slider phone measures 95.2mm x 46mm x 15.9 mm and weighs a paltry 110 grams.

Available for € 160, the Nokia 6700 has quite a visual appeal, as it has optics supported by Carl Zeiss, QVGA display, 16.7 true colours, dual LED flash and capture key. One can also share images and videos from the camera menu to OVI, notifying the homescreen directly. Web browsing with HSDPA and HSUPA is also available, apart from support for email and Ovi chat.

The sheer power quotient of the Nokia 6700 can only be described in one way. When the battery is fully charged, the slider phone gives its user a long talk time of up to four hours. It can be kept on standby mode for up to 300 hours and can play music continuously for 29 hours. To complement its big feature list, the phone is up for grabs in six colour models - pink, red, petrol blue, aluminum, lime and purple.

On the other hand, the second phone launched by Nokia, the Nokia 7230 has a 2.4 inch display. Its size specifications are 98 mm x 48 mm x 14.75 mm and it weighs about 100 grams. With an impressive 3.2 megapixel camera, 3G connectivity, 2GB memory, FM radio, Bluetooth, Xpress audio messaging and an illumination feature to indicate missed calls or messages, the Nokia 7230, available for € 100 is a handy phone for anyone.

Both the Nokia 6700 and Nokia 7230 would be available, as per company sources, in the first three months of 2010.
